Solutient successfully submitted “Gustav/Ike HMGP 2009” on behalf of Jefferson Parish to the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) on 8/28/2009. Upon review and approval by GOHSEP, the grant application will pass to FEMA for review and approval. Once approved and funded, this grant would award $7,709,744 to Jefferson Parish to mitigate 48 homes against future flood hazards. Solutient has an excellent track record for submitting grant applications that are approved for funding, and we expect this application to follow suit.
